What we want you to do

In the role as Digital Marketing Manager, you will be based at the DreamHack HQ located in Stockholm, Sweden. We need your expertise in creating and maximizing DreamHack’s digital marketing ads for various DreamHack products and events, as well as working closely to DreamHack’s sales team and partners to plan and execute creative campaigns. You should be an expert at multitasking and juggling several projects at the same time, and while doing so you are organized, proactive and driven. It’s also important that you are creative and have a passion for connecting with and engaging the gaming community. This role includes a high level of responsibility and you will be directly responsible for all DreamHack’s paid digital ads.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities include;

  • Develop and execute DreamHack digital marketing strategy
  • Responsible for setting up, maintaining and maximizing all paid digital ads
  • Work with DreamHack’s sales team and partners to plan and execute concepts and creative digital campaigns, including a post-campaign report
  • Work together with DreamHack’s Merchandise Manager and Director of Digital Platforms to execute creative campaigns around consumer products such as DreamHack merchandise and app
  • Manage DreamHack’s Digital Giveaways
  • Ordering graphics and other videos for digital ads promoting DreamHack events and tournaments
  • Creating and sending out newsletters to the DreamHack community and ticket holders
  • Managing and following up on a dedicated budget

What we ask of you

To thrive and to be successful in this role, we believe that you are self-motivated, proactive and great at taking own initiatives and decisions, both on the strategic and operative level. You have a passion for gaming and DreamHack and can’t wait to take on this challenge!

We expect you to tick these boxes;

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Marketing, Communications or similar
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the work field
  • Previous experience developing, planning and executing marketing initiatives
  • Great experience of Facebook Business Manager, Twitter Ads, Google Analytics and similar tools
  • Good knowledge about Mailchimp or equivalent email newsletter system
  • Experience in ordering assets for promotional purposes, visioning and storyboarding campaigns and videos
  • Detail oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills with the ability to successfully prioritize and manage multiple duties
  • Fluent in Swedish and English
