JOB OVERVIEW

We are self-publishing our own title, and are fully funded by Wargaming.net, one of the biggest publishers of FTP games in the world. Our studio leadership are industry veterans, and we believe we’re building a great studio culture in the best studio space in Guildford. If you think you have the talent to join a world class team, we’d love you to come and look at our studio.

As part of the Tools team, you will develop the tools that help the development team be as effective as possible making the game. You will work closely with all disciplines (designers, coders, artists) to create standalone applications or UE4 editor extensions to improve their pipelines. The tools will be created from a mix of C#, python or C++.

REPORTS TO

This position is based in Guildford and you will report to the Lead Tools Engineer.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Design and Implement standalone applications to help the development team
  • Design and implement editor extensions to help the development team
  • Identify development bottlenecks in the current tooling and suggest improvements.
  • Mentor junior tools programmers.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • 5+ years of experience in game development
  • Solid C# skills
  • Ninja Python skills
  • Experience with UE4
  • Ability to cope with the ever changing situation that is game development
  • Great communication skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Passion for game development

WHAT ADDITIONAL SKILLS WILL HELP YOU STAND OUT?

  • Experience with Jenkins
  • Good C++ knowledge
