This is a hybrid role reporting into both the HR & Development teams, concentrating on a team of up to 20 multidisciplinary talent across our development department, with people management duties as their primary focus it allows our seniors and leads to concentrate on our products and technology, whilst still developing the skills and knowledge within their teams.

This position is an essential facilitator role enabling the development and growth of our people at all stages of their careers and coordinating with subject and technical experts across the business to assist with coaching and developing key technical skills.

Due to current global conditions it anticipated this role will be remote for the duration of its tenure, with voluntary office visits if required, however if successful there may be an opportunity for this position to be permanent with travel as required to the office, if relocation is not an option. Due to payroll we can only accept remote applications if you are based in the UK or looking to relocate to the UK.

We recently moved into a brand-new river-front studio in the heart of the Historic Dockyard in Kent, UK. We are growing fast, developing our games using cutting-edge technology and delivering these on multiple platforms PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

  • Day to day contact with team members ensuring wellbeing and understanding of expectations
  • Carry out regular performance reviews, such as one to ones & annual reviews
  • Facilitate the coaching, training, learning and development and advancement of team
  • Coordinate and identify with Dev Managers, Producers and Technical leaders’ requirements for projects and outputs required from team members
  • Coordinate annual leave, sickness and other absence with project leads, Dev Managers and HR
  • Advise and support on the implementation of company policies and procedures
  • Work with team leads and HR on employee relations issues including investigation, grievance, absence and disciplinary procedures.
  • Advise on reward and recognition processes including pay, benefits and retention strategies for team
  • Manage and deliver People projects as assigned
  • Strong communicator, facilitator and coach
  • Experience working in a HR role
  • Knowledge of employment law, policies and procedures
  • Appreciation/knowledge of STEM
  • Experience with project management
  • Proficiency in Office 365
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Knowledge and practical experience of people management processes and procedures including recruitment and selection, performance management, training and development, remuneration and benefits, and employee relations
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective and productive working relationships across all levels within an organisation
