We are on the lookout for a part-time video editor & graphic designer to take our designs to the next level! We are a Social & Influencer Agency that prides itself in being relatable! We get gamers, we are gamers, content creators & marketeers who love to get shit done & grow audiences in the space we understand the best! At Disobey we innovate, reinvent & strategise in order to deliver the best possible results for our clients. We therefore are looking for someone who is reliable, well-organised & extremely creative. Having a great understanding of esports & FPS games is required, including titles such as CS, Valorant, Apex, COD, OW & Fortnite. You can confidently produce content around these titles along with content outside of esports.

We’re on the hunt for someone who thinks outside of the box and can creatively innovate. Having a passion for design and delivering high quality work whilst keeping up to date on new and upcoming design trends is essential. We’re looking for someone who gets their teeth stuck right into projects as part of the team but also someone who can plan, execute and finish projects independently. We’re a small team at Disobey but we are growing quickly so it’s essential that the right candidate can think and act like a self-starter without the need for micromanagement.

Essential Skills

  • 1 - 3 years experience using the Adobe Suite with a high proficiency of Premier Pro, After Effects & Photoshop.
  • Passionate about creating engaging content and creative storytelling through videos & graphics
  • Strong understanding of a variety of editing styles, techniques & formats for different devices.
  • Experience with After Effects for motion graphics.
  • Keeping up with editing trends and new features from the Adobe Suite which can be utilised into client projects to keep them slick and modern.
  • An understanding of gaming & esports, ideally with experience editing content for CS:GO, Valorant, Apex or other esports titles but comfortable editing non-esports content also.
  • Organized and flexible with the ability to produce high quality work and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
  • Heavy attention to detail with a strive for high-quality content.
  • Ability to work with a team along with being able to work independently and action projects from start to completion.
  • Ability to storyboard.
  • Knowledge of design principles: including color, layout, and hierarchy.
  • Flexible to work outside standard working hours when required - evening & weekend coverage for esports events will be required for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create high quality & engaging video content / motion graphics across multiple platforms including but not limited to: YouTube, Twitter, Twitch, Instagram & TikTok.
  • Create static graphics for social media, thumbnails, photo editing (retouch and manipulation), templates, print materials etc.
  • Research and pitch new ideas to maintain innovation and growth for us & our clients.
  • Edit a broad variety of topics, from interviews to high octane frag montages.
  • Collaborate with all relevant teams to produce an assortment of diverse & high quality videos from pitch to publishing.
  • Work closely with the Disobey team to create both long-form & short-form content and assets for the social team.
  • Managing your own time and work, we're a small team so being able to think creatively and pitch ideas from your vision will be essential.
  • Sourcing and keeping a bank of ideas for potential content.
  • Act as project lead and own projects when required to do so.
  • Planning & executing full event coverage for tournaments (Weekends are required).
