Social Media Content Specialist
We’re on a quest to add another full-time social media content specialist to our team. We work collaboratively across our teams to craft the best strategy & deliver the best results for our clients. We continually evaluate our work, improve our methods & keep our fingers on the pulse of the ever-evolving world of social media - all while breaking the rules. We, therefore, are looking for someone reliable, well-organised, analytical & highly creative with the ability to be a chameleon. We work across a variety of communities, so being able to adapt content & social copy that generates excitement & engagement in an organic way over a multitude of gaming genres is important. We work on a variety of genres from cosy indie titles to FPS games & esports clients. When applying, let us know what your favourite games are! The role requires you to ideate on original & trending content while thinking outside the box to innovate on unique angles for Disobey. We are excited to work with someone who regularly strategises, analyses & tweaks their content & strives to continually better their work with our client goals in mind. Paying close attention to social trends is a must with an understanding of how to adapt to algorithms & the ability to be agile towards reactive content.
Daily creation of original, entertaining & engaging content (images, videos & copy) for our clients across Twitter, Facebook, Instagram & TikTok.
Creating reactive content on the latest trending topics & memes & generating engaging content while it’s still hot.
Creation of a variety of different content, from promotional product posts to memes & adapting content goals per client.
Planning content ahead & building out content schedules in-line with client deliverables.
Execute on the content strategies we create for our clients with great social posts that evoke emotions, create great results & grow our clients accounts.
Schedule & post content across all social platforms in the correct formats.
Analyse post-performance & adapt strategies where necessary to smash our client's KPIs.
Collaborating with our content, community & design teams closely.
🦸️We’re looking for someone who:
Is full of personality, wit & humour that translates into your work.
Understands what content really works on social, how to make people laugh, tell stories & knows how to create content that sells.
Has 2 years of experience creating & posting content for brands across Twitter, Instagram, Facebook & TikTok.
Has the ability to work proficiently in the Adobe creative suite including Photoshop, Premier Pro (After Effects is a bonus).
Has an eye for great attention to detail, excellent copywriting skills & is fluent in English, both reading & writing.
Is a strong communicator with the ability to be concise when communicating plans & deadlines across our teams or if you need help.
Is both capable of being a team player along with being a self-starter that can work individually to get projects completed.
Is an all-around social media expert who is strategic, gets excited about growth & content production - not just a memester (although it’s also required!)
Can create analytical post-performance reports & explain your findings to the team.
Has a deep understanding of the gaming industry & has knowledge of a variety of different games/genres.
Understands the importance of community building. While you won’t manage our communities directly, it’s important that you have community management experience & understand how to involve the community in your content production.
Is driven to always learn more, & better your content.
Is comfortable working in a fast-paced agency environment & can adapt rapidly to new client requests.

£25k-£32k (depending on experience)
Full Time, 40 Hours a week (Flexitime)
Remote working. You can work from anywhere in the world as long as you are a UK resident & your main country of residence is the UK.
