The Summer Internship
At Discord, we offer a personalized experience for interns, and our aim is to offer an experience that mimics what it is like to actually work here. We match qualified interns with projects and groups, based on interests and skill sets and fully embed interns within those groups for the summer. Internships are paid and are a minimum of 12 weeks, targeting a start date in June to accommodate varying school calendars. Conditions permitting, our 2023 summer internships will be remote, with an opportunity to spend a week in the office at some point during the program. (Please limit positions to 1 application per role)
The Team
The Strategy & Business Planning team provides business critical insights, ensures cross-functional alignment and execution, and helps drive new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.
What you'll be doing
Evaluate new market and business opportunities
Work with cross-functional partners (eg marketing, product, data science) to surface opportunities, outline data-driven decisions, and frame actionable recommendations
Create and implement new processes to achieve business goals

Currently enrolled in a MBA program/course of study
Experience in strategy consulting, product management, or product marketing
Quantitative analytical experience
Partnering with cross-functional leadership to turn insights into action
Comfort with shifting priorities, ambiguity, and working in fast paced environment
Salary of $63/hour*
