Discord is looking for our first Recruiting Analyst. This high-impact role will help improve our programs, processes, and analytics across the Recruiting function. You will be responsible for recruiting data analytics, including building reports and dashboards, and completing ad hoc trend analysis to help improve our candidate experience, hiring process, and Inclusion, Diversity, and Purpose goals!

In addition to building out reporting and dashboard capabilities within Greenhouse for the internal Talent team, you will partner with our Data Science team to build dashboard capabilities in Looker for our executive leaders and managers.

You will also partner with our People Analytics Manager to integrate recruiting metrics with people metrics to create a holistic data view to inform our overall hiring and retention strategies.

You You'll Be Doing

  • Translate data and insights into meaningful visualizations, presentations, and stories to lead strategy, and action, at executive levels, within the Talent Team, and with our people managers

  • Evaluate Discord's Recruiting tools to improve both efficiency and quality. As an expert, you know how to manipulate an ATS to get the data you need

  • Make recommendations to improve existing data-collection methodologies, with an emphasis on standardization and improving data quality issues

  • You can put on a Program Manager's hat - during your data clean up, you can partner with Recruiting Leads to guide action

  • Partner with our People Analytics Manager - ensuring that we are one team as we represent our Recruiting and Employee data to our partners

  • Develop dashboards and analyses that power recruiting team decisions and operations

  • Partner with Data Science to build our recruiting data roadmap and analytics reporting framework

  • Evaluate and report on important metrics for the Recruiting organization on a global level

  • Partner across all levels of recruiting leadership and provide data to lead to more informed decision making

  • Translate complex findings and data in a compelling and easy-to-understand narrative for the end user

  • Communicate analyses and recommendations to multiple cross-functional partners

You Will Thrive In This Role If

  • Hands-on experience in an primarily analytical role

  • Ability to use data, analytics, and business knowledge to solve complex business problems

  • ATS Experience

  • Proficiency with data visualization tools (Looker preferred) and SQL

  • Advanced expertise in Excel / Google Sheet (queries, pivot tables)

  • Process mapping and systems improvement experience

  • Experience dealing with confidential data

  • Experience with Workday, specifically as it relates to integrations with an ATS
