Job Title: Junior Sales Manager

Dignitas is one of the most storied and recognized brand names in esports, winning 18 world championships since the team’s inception in 2003. The Dignitas ownership group consists of industry leaders Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment, which also owns the NBA’s Philadelphia 76ers and the NHL’s New Jersey Devils. In 2019, Dignitas merged with the Houston Rockets and now operates the LCS team, Clutch Gaming.

That same year, Dignitas opened a state-of-the-art gaming facility in Newark, NJ, adjacent to the Prudential Center. In 2020, Dignitas will make its official return to League of Legends. Position Overview: A Junior Sales Manager (JSM) is responsible for generating new leads into the Dignitas sponsorship/sales pipeline. This position is great for a self-starter, eager to learn from industry veterans, and interested in the emerging space of esports.

Core Accountabilities:

  • Ability to grow and foster a sales pipeline
  • Gather information on assigned companies (e.g. company size, points of contact)
  • Develop lists of industries, and companies therein, to target for partnership opportunities
  • Tracking and reporting of sales goals and processes
  • Build strong client relationships through regular communication
  • Understanding of the esports partner landscape and how Dignitas, and our greater organization, fits into the conversation
  • Ability to source leads for senior partnership team

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in sales or related fields
  • Understanding of sales principles and ability to deliver excellent customer experience
  • Strong (verbal and written) communication skills with an ability to build relationships
  • Effective presentation and negotiation skills
  • Good time-management skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • BS degree in Business Administration, Marketing or other relevant field
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) is a plus
  • Knowledge of the esports industry is a plus
