DigitalFish has an imminent need for a Program Manager to support our team of engineers developing and advancing a large-scale, cloud-hosted, next-generation animation and VFX pipeline in partnership with renowned global studios.

In this role you will provide support in critical areas of overall project management including designing an execution plan in collaboration with the engineers, along with internal and client stakeholders. Your responsibilities include managing that plan, keeping the team working on the highest priority tasks, removing risks and impediments, and leading communication with stakeholders at multiple levels, both internally and with our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Represent DigitalFish as a trusted expert with visibility and exposure across multiple companies
  • Support the requirements analysis, design, development, and validation of software solutions for film, video, visual effects, animation, and post-production data using modern tools and cloud technologies on Azure
  • Support the development of enterprise data management strategies including data warehouse implementations, data movement, acquisition, validation, conversion, and archive/recovery.
  • Lead communication with stakeholders at multiple levels both internally and with DigitalFish clients.
  • Anticipate and mitigate against implementation and rollout challenges
  • Manage and guide team to a working prototype on a tight schedule

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years professional experience driving complex engineering projects across teams
  • Minimum 4 years managing VFX and animation processes
  • Excellent ability to listen and synthesize the information provided by the technology company, entertainment studio, overarching VFX and Animation studio, and its individual facilities.
  • Experience with Agile engineering practices
  • Experience with engineering planning and tracking products such as Trello and Jira, and VFX/animation tracking solutions such as Shotgun
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Experience working with cloud-based production management solutions, cloud storage and rendering, and cloud based file sharing and transfer strongly preferred
  • Ability to learn quickly and be flexible in a high paced, high stakes, environment

Location

Your primary work will be virtual due to COVID-19 restrictions and will stay remote once COVID-19 restrictions lift. As conditions improve, some travel to actual studios may be required.
