Dexerto are looking for an experienced SEO Manager to drive organic performance across our publishing portfolio. As SEO Manager you will be responsible for conducting keyword research and technical audits, as well as having knowledge of on-page and off-site optimisation.

A key part of this role is the ability to be hands on in terms of the day-to-day SEO requirements of Dexerto, with a strong attention to detail. Part of your role as SEO Manager will be reporting and monitoring SEO performance regularly. You will then present results back to the directors and review performance.

Role:

  • Perform and action regular SEO technical on-page audits.
  • Create backlink strategy and implement.
  • Identify key areas of content and keywords to focus on.
  • Continually optimise content to ensure consistent improvement.
  • Be free thinking, put forward creative ideas, comfortable in preparing proposals, overseeing the production process and reporting the results to the relevant people, including senior stakeholders.
  • Have objectives based on customer acquisition.
  • Managing SEO best practise across the business
  • Chairing SEO meetings to ensure that strategy and output are aligned
  • Drive SEO Strategy
  • Create backlink strategy and implement.

Experience Required:

  • 3+ years of working in an SEO focused role.
  • Proven SEO experience, ideally in an agency, publisher or in-house brand.
  • Great attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and mentor more junior staff
  • Good working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, AccuRanker, DeepCrawl, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs.
  • The ability to conduct keyword research and technical audits.
  • On-page and Off-page optimisation experience.
  • Experience of optimising websites for SEO either hands on or through agency interaction
  • Building and developing new SEO campaigns, as well as managing existing campaigns.
  • Experience of driving campaign performance through testing and post-campaign analysis and optimisation
  • Understanding the audience and using data to build targeted acquisition.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure the SEO strategy works well for every aspect of the business.
  • Coming up with creative ideas, preparing proposals, overseeing the production process & execution and reporting the results to the relevant people.
  • Experience of working with analytical platforms or data teams.
  • Ability to manage key stakeholders and gain buy in across all levels, evidencing a good cultural fit.
  • Be comfortable reporting all performance kpis to senior stakeholders.
  • Be up to date on SEO trends, best practices, technical updates and other news in the SEO sector.
