Dexerto are looking for a freelance multimedia journalist who can transform our award-winning esports, gaming and entertainment content into great short stories for the Google Stories platform.
The ideal candidate will have a snappy writing style, an eye for design and knowledge of social media. They will also have a passion for the topics we cover as the ability to source stories on the latest trends is desirable. On a typical day you could be tasked with covering the latest TikTok drama, entertaining highlights captured on a Twitch stream, or big breaking news.
An excellent communicator, you will have to collaborate with your colleagues to produce viral content each day in a creative manner. Basic Photoshop or design skills are essential whist experience of writing for a publication is also advantageous, but above all, it is important that you can demonstrate your passion for the job. We need someone who consumes gaming and social media content daily and has an understanding of what the Dexerto audience wants.
