Dexerto are looking for a deals writer. This is a remote position so you will be expected to work from home in the USA.
An accomplished writer, you will be able to cover the very best deals for consumers looking to buy the latest games or gaming hardware - anything from consoles to PCs, keyboard to controllers, and TVs to monitors.
As a result, you will need to be on top of the best deals from major online retailers and update articles accordingly. You will do this year-round, but also lead our coverage for big sales such as Black Friday.
You will work with a team of gaming hardware experts to ensure that we are producing the best content, including an Editor and a Writer, plus Dexerto's Affiliate Manager and SEO Manager.
SEO knowledge is highly desirable.
Requirements:
- Writing experience
- Knowledge of gaming hardware, deals and retailers
- SEO knowledge
- Contacts in the industry desirable
- Good organization and time management skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail – able to spot grammatical errors and formatting mistakes
- Great communication skills – able to take instruction and keep various members of the team updated on progress
- Own computing equipment that can run Photoshop or similar programs
- Able to work full-time hours (40) without other education or job commitments
- Experience with Google Sheets and content management systems, and photo editing skills
