Dexerto are looking for a talented full-time games writer who can specialise in Call of Duty.

Based in North America, the ideal candidate will know everything there is to know about Call of Duty and Warzone, will be able to break all the big news as it happens, and write tips and guides to help players get better at the game. You will also have a good understanding of Call of Duty esports and will follow big CoD personalities who stream on Twitch and create content for YouTube.

However, you will also have a broad gaming knowledge, be adaptable and a quick learner as it will be important that you are able to write about the variety of subjects that Dexerto covers on a daily basis.

As well as writing for Dexerto.com, you may also be required to post on our social media platforms, including DexertoIntel.

You’ll need a snappy writing style and be able to craft engaging headlines that will include important keywords. As a result, some SEO knowledge is desirable.

As you will be covering Call of Duty esports, this role will require you to work at weekends.

Essential

  • Great knowledge of Call of Duty, Call of Duty esports, and other big games and streamers
  • On the pulse - on top of major news as it breaks
  • Able to write news and longer form features such as tips and guides
  • Basic Photoshop skills
  • Available to work at weekends

Desirable

  • Professional writing experience
  • SEO knowledge
  • Worked with a CMS
  • Experience of posting on social media
