Dexerto are looking for talented freelance video script writers who can pitch and craft compelling stories about big personalities in gaming, from Twitch streamers to YouTubers.

We’re after people who enjoy following all the major personalities on Twitch and YouTube and are on the cutting edge of emerging trends in the field. So if you are brimming with ideas for documentaries and / or opinionated list features, have great knowledge of the Twitch and YouTube scene, plus an eye for detail, get in touch.

Professional writing experience is desirable and we would like to see examples of your work, but this is also a great opportunity for talented and passionate first-time writers to tell great stories that people want to hear.

To be considered, please send in your resume, links to any relevant examples of writing that you have, plus at least one idea for a documentary or an opinionated list feature. If you don’t have any published works, but you would like an opportunity to write about esports, send us a pitch, plus the first 300 words of the script.

Note: This isn’t a full-time job. As a freelancer, you would be paid for each piece of work that is commissioned.
