Dexerto are looking for talented freelance esports video script writers who will be able to pitch ideas and write scripts to commission. If you can craft compelling narratives around key topical storylines and personalities in any one of Call of Duty, CS:GO, or Valorant we want to hear from you.

The type of content we are looking for includes opinionated list features, highlights and detailed documentaries. So if you are brimming with ideas, have great esports knowledge, an eye for detail and are on the pulse of emerging topics, get in touch.

Professional writing experience is desirable and we would like to see examples of your work, but this is a great opportunity for talented and passionate writers to tell great stories that people want to hear.

To be considered, please send in your resume, links to examples of esports writing that you have, plus at least one idea for a documentary or an opinionated list feature. If you don’t have any published works, but you would like an opportunity to write about esports, send us a pitch, plus the first 300 words of the script.

This isn’t a full-time job. As a freelancer, you would be paid for each piece of work that is commissioned.
