Hello and welcome! We appreciate your interest in the position of Business Development Assosciate / Leadgen Manager. This is a special opportunity that requires a special process. The process itself is designed to weed out those less than passionate about really wanting this position. We are looking for personality, creativity, skills (of course!) and character. Another important trait is being able to follow and follow through on directions!

MAJOR ZONES OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct market research
  • Be on top of the latest industry news in video games
  • Prospect and identify new business opportunities and partners
  • Lead generation (cold outreach of researched prospects)
  • Be an evangelist of external game development
  • Client support with using Devoted Internal tools
  • Maintain accurate data storage in CRM. Be an evangelist of CRM excellence, prepare the weekly plan and report on current and prospective client communication
  • Assist BD when needed with communication with clients and vendors on a daily basis
  • Assist BD when needed with follow-ups, preparing relevant documentation and decks for partners and contracts
  • Prepare status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals

PROCESSES AND REPORTING:

  • In collaboration with BD, own and manage early to mid-stage leadgen pipeline (research to cold outreach)
  • Attend early-stage client calls with BD and Supervisor; help take and organize notes related to client support
  • In collaboration with BD, put together weekly leadgen reports (including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals)
  • In collaboration with BD, own Nethunt CRM database of companies and contacts
  • Own and manage Business Intelligence spreadsheet
  • Keep up to date on relevant game industry news
  • With BD, send cold outreach to new prospects
  • Assist BD when needed with communication with clients and vendors on a daily basis
