The IT Specialist will help make the process of game development as seamless as possible, and have some fun along the way.

The IT Specialist will be based in our Cambridge, MA office. Not a requirement, but a love of video games and playing them regularly, will get you some points!

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Antivirus management and evaluation
  • Windows updates
  • Equipment tracking
  • New Employee equipment and accounts set up
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues for end users
  • Ideal if you are a master of Jira administration
  • Server backup monitoring and testing
  • Assist with work in the server room (server installs/server decommissioning)
  • Provide end-user support for a variety of web applications; Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, etc.
  • Assisting in the planning, implementation, and maintenance of all information technology products
  • Maintain, manage, troubleshoot and upgrade computer systems and servers for performance and security related issues
  • Assist in other general IT tasks

Requirements:

  • B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or related field.
  • Minimum of two (2) years experience working in a technical support role.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Experience in electronic records management, data governance, data privacy.
  • Process development and documentation experience.
  • May require lifting of equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Preference to Applicants with:

  • Windows Server, IIS
  • Office 365
  • SMB/CIFS, NFS, and other data sharing protocols
  • Cloud Services (AWS, Azure, Google)
  • Active Directory
