You are:

  • A creative thinker with a good sense for interactive storytelling, quest flow and pacing in ActionRPGs and Open World Games
  • Dedicated to creating immersive game worlds which combine game design and narration. Constraints are challenges that you tackle by finding creative solutions
  • Hands-on, driven to design, build and polish ideas into a concrete experience and feel at ease with game engines and scripting
  • Detail focused, highly organized and keen to demonstrate ownership and responsibility in your tasks
  • An excellent communicator both orally and in writing, thriving when interacting with your peers. You collaborate to feedback and improve your work

You will:

  • Become a full member of our design department and be the link between narration and gameplay within our team
  • Work hands-on using our proprietary tools and visual scripting systems to design and create quests and narrative driven gameplay
  • Plan and integrate assets (gameplay elements, locations, characters, functional dialogue)
  • Iterate over narrative content to increase overall quest quality and player experience
  • Maintain the highest possible quality of your work by acting on feedback by your peers and fixing reported bugs
  • Cooperate closely with members of different departments (narrative design, level design, game design, art, animation, etc.)
  • Create and maintain design documentation

Your specs:

  • Very good understanding of storytelling, quest flow and game design in the context of ActionRPGs and Open World Games
  • Solid experience with 3D game editors, game design tools and visual scripting
  • Ability to effectively work across teams involved in a game development lifecycle
  • Excellent communication skills, dedication and capability to work within a team
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of user experience is a plus
  • Fluent English
