Job Description
Darkpaw Games in San Diego is looking a passionate Associate Content Designer for special content documentation to assist with projects for the future. We need a true advocate of the game to help us accomplish this! The Associate Content Designer will collaborate with other disciplines and designers to document needed data for a future project to create new gameplay experiences. We are fully prepared to do remote onboarding and equipment shipments as needed for our new hires while we are currently working remotely!
Your Contribution:
- Create design documents for design use
- Communicate with fellow game designers
- Identify zone level ranges using available tools
- Identify problematic encounters that will require in-depth review
- Work with development to help create direction for special project
Your Knowledge and Experience:
- Experience Playing EverQuest II
- Experience playing MMOs
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and other office software
- A mature, professional attitude and work ethic
- Self-motivated with the ability to creatively solve problems
- Ability to work and meet deadlines
- Demonstrate high standards of ethics and fairness
Pluses
- Familiarity with the world of EverQuest
- Any previous industry experience or demonstrable video game design experience
- A passion for making or playing games
