Crytek is looking for a Project Manager to support our IT Department including Web Projects and Network Operations. This position requires a dedication to process and performance as well as creative problem solving.

The candidate must also have excellent project and people management skills, needs to be an expert in applying the right development methodologies and team dynamics to maximize productivity, in utilizing project management tools to create transparency.

The individual successful for this role will be comfortable in a matrix organization and excited to juggle multiple responsibilities at the same time.

Responsibilities

  • See the big picture and disseminate all relevant information to/from your teams.
  • Receive high-level direction, and provide mid- to low-level direction to your teams.
  • Own and implement road-map planning for your teams in relation to overall production road-map and priorities.
  • Own and maintain project documentation.
  • Proactively identify production bottlenecks, dependencies and risks, and take appropriate steps and/or provide possible mitigation plans to resolve them.
  • Schedule planning across projects with internal departments and external vendors.
  • Collaborate closely with the Technical lead, department manager and other stakeholders.
  • Track and communicate progress in tasks & development and preparing status meetings.
  • Ensure that the projects and its features are executed as intended.
  • Continue to enhance organization and communications skills.
  • Actively participate in team working on project by making recommendations on how to improve product support as well as group productivity.
  • Additional tasks in the area of a Web Project Manager.
  • Promote effective and sustainable team dynamics.
  • Assist in the hiring process.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing and prioritizing multiple projects and backlogs.
  • Awareness and knowledge in IT including Network Operations and Web Technologies.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and Jira administration.
  • Organized approach to problem solving and time-management.
  • Proven ability to create and maintain productive relations across functions.
  • Works well under pressure / competing demands.
  • Strong cross-team communication skills.
  • Fluent English written and spoken communication skills essential.
  • Self-driven and motivated.
  • Passion and knowledge of games.
  • Willing to relocate to Frankfurt, Germany.
