Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:
- TPM is responsible for managing and communicating project definition, development milestones, project schedules, and project status in the development of new Systems.
- TPM should have a strong understanding of engineering feasibility. Able to create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project.
- Drives and coordinates cross-functional team and contract manufacturer in the deliverable of tasks.
- TPM needs to be able to resolve issues encountered through project execution, manage cross-functional trade-off discussions, drive decisions, seek support, drive escalations and decisions when necessary. Should be flexible and can respond quickly, energetically, and enthusiastically to changes. On-going reporting of project status to upper management.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- BSEE or BSME
- 5+ years of project management experience working in consumer electronics product development organization, experience managing full
- Strong track record of on-time project delivery and managing entire project life cycle.
- Experience working with and managing external test sites and/or managing vendors.
- Strong organizational and management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Mandarin proficiency a plus.
