Procurement Analyst

General Purpose:

• Analyze and review all aspects of the supply chain of key commodities and finished goods in order to ensure on-going optimum material availability and production schedule to meet demand

Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:

Supply Chain Management:

• Review supply vs. demand of finished goods and breakdown into component supply level for further analysis
• Build Excel models to organize sync component supply with finished goods demand and allocate as necessary
• Track and ensure component supply can support production schedule of finished goods at ODM/OEM contract manufacturers
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with suppliers

New Product Introduction (NPI) Readiness:

• Review material readiness with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure availability of components necessary to meet production schedule and ramp
• Identify issues early in the NPI phase and help drive these to resolution prior to ramp

Cross-functional Support:

• Support departments across Engineering, Marketing, Planning, and Quality from NPI through MP
• Track both new and existing changes involving design, materials, and supply/demand forecasts from concept to execution

Project Management:

• Ability to manage and prioritize all the above tasks
• Facilitate requests for summary reports and recommendations, and other ad-hoc activities for management review

Essential Skills and Experience:

• 2+ years of operations, supply chain, and/or business/finance experience
• Knowledge in various consumer PC product industry commodities such as keyboard, mice, headsets, PSU, and electrical/mechanical components
• Outstanding analytical capabilities with proficiency in MS Excel to extract and manipulate large datasets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint to create and deliver presentations
• Ability to work cross functionally in a dynamic environment
• Strong work ethic and goal-oriented
• High degree of flexibility during evenings and weekends to collaborate with international teams
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Experience in working with ODM/OEM contract manufacturers
• Bi-Lingual: Mandarin and English
