General Purpose

  • Corsair is looking for a talented finance professional to add to the FP&A team. Come join the gaming industry and be part of the e-sports growth! This role is highly cross-functional and will require coordination across several organizations within the company. T he position will provide financial support to channel marketing and be responsible for revenue and margin forecasting, variance and bridge analysis, month/quarter-end close activities, and various ad-hoc reporting.

Position Summary, Responsibilities And Expectations

  • Collaborate as a trusted advisor and business partner with the Sales & Marketing organizations, including C-suite and senior executive exposure
  • Manage revenue outlook and analysis for the company, including monthly forecasts, weekly management reporting, variance analysis and quarter close activities
  • Deep dive into margin delta drivers, including impact from contra-revenue, freight charges, accounting provisions, etc.
  • Be a key point of contact to the direct-to-consumer team to help support and drive the expansion of the business
  • Work closely with Marketing, Sales Ops, and Manufacturing to analyze results, address gaps, and provide suggestions for improvement
  • Consolidate inputs and assumptions to produce the segment P&L forecast and conduct qualitative analysis to trend present and future operational performance
  • Drive complex modelling and provide input on key trends and bridge analysis surrounding price/volume/mix metrics
  • Continue to improve on-going efforts to implement Hyperion within the company, which include establishing new forecast and reporting processes
  • Prepare executive presentations to support business management team in reviewing results with senior management.
  • Ensure all timelines are met with data quality and accuracy
  • Ad-hoc reporting and special projects

Essential Skills And Experience

  • A natural leader and agent of change who can thrive in an environment with a degree of ambiguity. This individual will have a track record of working independently, as well as cross-functionally with various finance/accounting teams, to drive team results. Must be able to succeed in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent with 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Revenue planning or expense budgeting experience in a high-tech or consumer products industry
  • Ability to build and cultivate strong relationships and be seen as a valued business partner
  • Exhibits solid communication, collaboration and presentation skills
  • Highly collaborative, team focused with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Expert level systems and tools skills required: Oracle, Essbase, Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint
  • Strong financial analysis skills
