General Purpose

The Director, Web & eCommerce will be responsible for:

  • Lead Corsair’s eCommerce website business for D2C sales including hardware, software, and services

Position Summary, Responsibilities And Expectations

  • Lead eCommerce program and own process development to improve site, drive sales, and cross sell retail products and services
  • Lead performance optimization on all aspects of site experience (including SEO, desktop and mobile web experience, funnel testing, and merchandising & promotions)
  • Partner with marketing to align on unified user experience and optimize on-site conversion across a portfolio of products and services
  • Oversee product roadmap and backlog to ensure key site capabilities are being delivered and bugs are being fixed.
  • Partner with analytics to oversee dashboards & reporting, use data driven insights around targeting, segmentation, and site behavior/performance to guide iterative process for continuous improvement
  • Manage projects within eCommerce and collaborate across teams to push to completion
  • Lead P&L management, collaborate across departments and be the intersectional voice at the table for the eCommerce business
  • Lead, manage, and grow the Web & eCommerce team, report to head of D2C & eCommerce

Essential Skills And Experience

  • 8-12+ years in eCommerce, experience with site/product management working with engineers, content, and business intelligence
  • BS/BA in marketing, economics, engineering, or other technical field
  • Proven project management and process development skills with track record of driving performance across teams, experience in productivity and management software (Asana, Jira, etc.)
  • Well versed in defining roadmaps and working with teams that employ agile/scrum software development methodologies
  • Experienced with CRM and CDP management and detailed segmentation/targeting/messaging strategies, technical database skillset preferred
  • Ability to “dive under the hood”: quantitative, data-first approach with strong analytical deduction and diagnostic ability to find and solve problems, ability to grow team members to do the same
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences at varying levels of the organization
