General Purpose

The Director, Digital Marketing will be responsible for:

  • Lead the DTC Digital Marketing Team to plan, execute, and iterate digital marketing campaigns to drive traffic to the DTC site
  • Lead retention marketing efforts for DTC

Position Summary, Responsibilities And Expectations

  • Lead D2C marketing team to plan, execute, and iterate digital brand and performance marketing campaigns
  • Oversee search, display, email, SMS, and affiliate marketing channels to drive D2C conversion volume, efficiency (CAC, ROAS), and brand reach
  • Partner cross functionally for social marketing channels to drive D2C sales
  • Partner with analytics leads to optimize marketing mix, targeting/messaging, and efficiency by spearheading streams such as channel attribution, incrementality analysis, customer segmentation, and rigorous creative & bid testing
  • Partner with product strategy & corporate marketing teams to coordinate new product launches and strategic initiatives, ensure consistent brand message for D2C campaigns
  • Partner with web and UX teams around marketing channel specific needs and assist site-side funnel optimization
  • Lead and develop a team of brand & performance marketers to efficiently grow the business
  • Develop and processes for resource demand management and campaign workflow
  • Lead strategic evolution of Corsair’s omnichannel marketing program toward best-in-class
  • Report to head of D2C & eCommerce

Essential Skills And Experience

  • 8-12+ years of agency or in-house digital marketing experience, particularly with D2C eCommerce brands
  • BS/BA in marketing, business administration, economics, statistics, or other technical field, MA/MS/MBA a plus
  • Proven success managing people and projects, working across teams, and driving performance in a cross-functional environment
  • Deep understanding of omnichannel strategy, channel specific levers, and both brand and performance marketing analytics
  • Strong mastery of analytical tools and statistical concepts
  • Ability to “dive under the hood”: quantitative, data-first approach with strong analytical deduction and diagnostic ability to find and solve problems, ability to grow team members to do the same
  • Data visualization (PowerBI, Tableau) and SQL/Python experience preferred
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across audiences at varying levels of the organization
