General Purpose:

This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a devoted PC gamer and social media savant to manage CORSAIR’s primary global community efforts on Discord. This is an entry-level role to manage the US-based community team’s efforts on the official Discord server and to help coordinate activities with North American offices, partners, and internal stakeholders.

Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:

• Manage CORSAIR Discord server and act as a front line to CORSAIR community members, engaging with them on the platform
• Lead CORSAIR’s Discord community activities and its group of moderators, owning daily interactions on the platform
• Create, sell-in and execute social media engagement plans for Discord
• Coordinate and execute Discord events together with the Community and Sponsorship teams
• Track and execute on activities and internal requests with cross-functional teams where appropriate; be a master collaborator
• Develop and own reporting to track results of Community initiatives on Discord

Essential Skills and Experience:

• 1+ years experience in community management and social media
• Bachelor degree in marketing/communications or higher in relevant field
• Proven skills in social media copywriting and a good eye for community content
• Strong work ethic and problem-solving skills
• Superb communication skills both internally and externally
• Great sense of (internet) humor, and understanding of PC gaming culture
