Applications are being accepted for a full-time esports Head Coach. This position develops and manages all aspects of the esports program, including but not limited to: recruiting and retaining student participants; coordinating and conducting practices and competitions; developing game and life skills among students; and creating a highly visible program.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Competitive gaming experience required; esport coaching experience preferred.
  • Current player ranking in selected gaming title(s) and knowledge of relevant strategies, play patterns, and dynamics of competitive play.
  • Broader knowledge of online multiplayer games and technologies.
  • Conduct activities in accordance with institutional and selected external esport organizing bodies.
  • Internet and database skills.
  • A commitment to the values, standards, and expectations of a residential, liberal arts college.
  • Must have valid driver's license and insurance coverage (if driving own vehicle) or be insurable.
