We are after passionate, gifted and creative educators with skills in games design and games art to join our rapidly expanding team to teach on our Games provision. You will have the skills to work in at least one or more of the following areas – 3D Modelling, Asset Production for Games, Animation for Games and Concept Art Development for Games. Depending upon your skills you will deliver lessons in a range of areas such as 3D Modelling, 2D and 3D Animation, Games Design, Concept Art Development and Asset Production.

You will have industry related skills and be a great team player along with some of the following:

  • Understanding and knowledge of 3D Modelling and Animation.
  • Understanding of Asset Production for Games (Digital and/or Tabletop).
  • Experienced in the use of game software such as Adobe Photoshop, 3DSMax, Mudbox, After Effects, Unreal Engine, Unity.
  • Understanding of the Game Art Pipeline within the games industry.
  • Good traditional art skills are desirable but not essential.

From planning lessons and preparing resources for designated programmes and modules to delivering enriching sessions and activities, and supporting students through group and individual tutorials, our tutors are at the heart of the student experience.

It’s essential that you are conversant with current professional practices within your field of expertise. You will ideally be educated to degree level and hold a recognised teaching qualification, or be prepared to study for one. You will have some knowledge or experience of teaching at further education.
