Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies (part of Nottingham Trent University) is after passionate, gifted and creative educators to teach on our Esports courses. CICT is currently developing Esports courses within further and higher education, including a new Degree level BSc Esports Production programme.

You will have a strong understanding of live event production, with a solid grasp and interest in the Esports industry. Having an overall understanding of the games industry specific to publishers, developers, consumers and participants is extremely important.

You will have knowledge, understanding and skills in broadcast production. This includes online streaming platforms, networking and hardware (cameras, microphones etc.)

You must have experience in and exposure to Esports events.

You will have industry-related knowledge, skills and be a great team player along with some or all of the following:

  • The history of competitive video gaming
  • The economic structure of the Esports industry
  • Esports tournaments and leagues
  • Esports consumers and participants
  • Esports stakeholders such as developers, publishers etc.
  • Single and Multiplayer games
  • Competitive game design
  • Live event production
  • Online streaming platforms
  • Broadcast software and hardware technologies
  • Digital media production
  • Audiovisual mixing technologies
  • Event management
  • Digital gaming technologies

From planning lessons and preparing resources for designated programmes and modules to delivering enriching sessions and activities, and supporting students through group and individual tutorials, our tutors are at the heart of the student experience.

It’s essential that you are conversant with current professional practices within your field of expertise. You will also be educated to degree level and either hold a recognised teaching qualification, or be prepared to study for one.
