Due to COVID-19, all employees are currently working remotely from home. This position is expected to start remotely as well, and will eventually report to our office in Edina. We strive to provide flexibility during these uncertain times.

Job Description

Concrete Software is looking for a motivated, responsible software tester to work on our mobile games as a QA Specialist. The candidate will take ownership of QA processes for games in development and help ensure all released games are free of bugs and provide a high quality user experience. The QA Specialist requires strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Perform daily testing on various game titles in development at Concrete Software, including but not limited to:

  • Validation and regression testing
  • Test documentation
  • Report issues and track their resolution using issue tracking system
  • Work as part of our QA team to ensure quality of periodic updates and releases for our current projects
  • Participate in project development
  • Participate in team meetings with project team as appropriate
  • Advocate and ensure high quality user experiences.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years work experience in software testing
  • Self-motivated, proactive and self-sufficient
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and dedication to quality
  • Moderate technical skills and knowledge of computers, networks, etc.
  • An interest in games and/or mobile technology

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of Agile software development process
  • Familiarity with issue tracking software (JIRA)
  • Background in mobile and tablet testing (iOS/Android)
  • Technical college degree
