Our Company

Computer Planet Ltd is an IT company based in Warrington, Cheshire. We specialise in the build of custom desktop PC's and CAD workstations for a variety of customers including eSports competitors, online gamers, CAD design professionals, video editors, graphic artists, scientists, students and businesses.

Our customers can select their specification online and design a PC with custom components, or purchase one of our pre-built products.

We are a small team sharing the same target of delivering outstanding service and exceptional PC's, thus we are looking to hire someone who is hardworking with strong communication skills.

The Role

As our sole customer service advisor and technical support assistant you will be in control of all customer communications via telephone, email and through our website livechat.

You will provide pre-sales advice, customer service and technical support to buyers, therfore a good knowledge of PC's and internal components is vital. The role will also require you to support customers remotely on occasion.

Some customer problems may include PC hardware troubleshooting causing problems with Windows 7 and Windows 10, so excellent understanding of software is important in this role.

Sales quotes will be followed up daily and customer queries should be answered via email each morning. Use of our in house order system will be required along with courrier service communications.

On rare occasions when customer support is quiet, you may also be required to assist the PC builders with pre-building, so we need an individual who is efficient and driven.

Contract Information

The salary is £9 per hour.

The position is permanent and will commence immediately with a 1 month probation period. Production hours are 9:00 - 17:00 with a 20 minute morning break and 40 minute lunch break.

The contract will include 28 days holiday per annum.

The Candidate

A successful candidate will have experience in customer relations and telephone roles. A knowledge of PC systems and components, gaming computers and software would be essential.
