"Community Gaming, a New York-based company, is the all-in-one platform that offers esports infrastructure to all key industry stakeholders. Through its transparent UX and highly scalable payment technology, the platform equips gamers, organizers and game developers with the tools they need to create, facilitate and participate in esports tournaments. Its most recent funding round has enabled Community Gaming to continue on its expansion into Latin America and South Asia.

We are looking for a Community Manager for our Social Media Networks. Specifically, we are looking for an individual interested in promoting competitive esports spaces in Latin America, focusing their efforts on fostering brand engagement and the unique advantages that our ecosystem brings to gamers around the world. This person will report to the Marketing Team and will be responsible for proposing and executing a content strategy for the company's events portfolio and showcasing the unique features and benefits of the site.

Responsibilities (what you will do)

  • Develop and execute a content strategy focused on encouraging interaction with our content.
  • Help the CG LatAm community on CG LatAm social networks, addressing problems, questions or other items related to the tournaments, claiming prizes, etc.
  • Serve as a key point of contact on social media channels.
  • Moderate community interaction on social media channels
  • Help the CG LatAm community on Discord, addressing issues, questions, or other items related to tournaments, claiming prizes, etc.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for crypto award queries and crypto/blockchain questions
  • Moderate the use of the Discord Server community
  • Monitor the existence of BOTS or malicious users.
  • Link with the development team for analysis reports and information

Qualifications (what you will bring to the table)

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Impeccable interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with international teams and individuals from different backgrounds and/or education levels.
  • Great understanding of the Latin American esports ecosystem (bonus for understanding the blockchain and crypto ecosystems)
  • Experience with at least one type of video game genre: RTS, FPS, MOBA or TCG
  • Native Spanish speaker with command of English or vice versa, the interview will be conducted partially in English (extra points for additional languages)
  • Experience/passion in the entertainment or video game industry is a plus
  • Portuguese or English at intermediate or advanced levels
