A concept for engagement and penetration of E-sports amongst Indian Youth aging between 18 -25 years along with stimulating the interest of the people of the country in promotion of esports, it is called 100 days of games. It’s a first ever online platform in India created for esports encouraged enthusiast participants, largely given inspiration to esports players an opportunity to demonstrate their skills and get recognised.

We’re looking for an events coordinator to plan, coordinate, and execute online and offline events for 100 days of games. This includes managing logistics, ensuring deliverables are met by any third party hosts, and more. Comet EMG will host various live events throughout the year: ranging from on-campus events in conjunction with esports clubs to larger events such as the 100 days of games Finals.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Community Manager to plan 100 days of games live event schedule for this season: including self-operated events, co-hosted events, online and offline tournaments.
  • Create a comprehensive event checklist to be used and filled out by any on-the-ground operator that ensures a consistent level of quality across all events.
  • Create a list of deliverables and requirements to ensure that all obligations are met.
  • Inventory all gear, swag, and other physical items that are used in live events including handling all logistics related to the delivery and return of items to and from events.
  • Attend live events where needed in a front-facing capacity.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of games that 100 days of games hosts leagues for, especially their respective communities
  • Detail oriented and persistent, seriously!
  • College degree; emphasis in marketing or business a plus
  • Should be aspirational to learn esports/event management.
  • Experience with collegiate gaming events is a huge plus.
