What We're Looking For
We are looking for a highly driven Business Development Manager to extend our reach through expert discovery and exploration of new and untapped business opportunities and relationships. Our ideal candidate will be trusted to take the lead in building the department and be highly skilled at sales and business operations. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of crypto, blockchain, game publishers/developers, and ability to reach out to games publishers/developers to negotiate game deals and help launch partnerships.
What You'll Do
- Manage both our existing pipeline and developing new business opportunities
- Take a lead role in the development of proposals and presentations for new business to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships
- Identify trends and customer needs, building short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in accordance with targets
- Develop strategies and positions by analyzing new venture integration
- Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies, and delegate tasks that achieve strategic goals
- Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers and meet regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss strategy
- Generate new leads, identify, and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select the deals in line with strategies, and lead and facilitate pitch logistics
- Develop and implement overarching outbound sales and business development strategy, sales processes, structure, and best practices across the company
- Support deal structure and pricing with business value analysis; negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposals
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 3+ years of Business Development experience
- Marketing or product experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration preferred
- Successful track record in sales and negotiation
- Successful previous experience meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
- Strong business acumen and industry expertise with proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
- Excellent responsiveness, organization, and collaboration skills
- A big plus if you have gaming experience, esports knowledge, worked with content creators and/or partnerships
