Cloud Imperium is looking for an Associate Project Manager to work with our Corporate Technology team to assist with the organization and execution of numerous ongoing projects within the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a driving force for the Corporate Technology team by facilitating communication, organization & accountability
  • Own and create both daily and long-term schedules for your team and ensure that goals and deadlines are clearly communicated
  • Ensure that documentation and processes are always maintained and up to date
  • Compile and send out regular reports on team progress and accomplishments
  • Identify, communicate, and resolve any risks that may prevent the team from completing deadlines to management
  • Schedule/attend meetings, set agendas, take concise and comprehensive notes, create action items and distribute them to the appropriate personnel
  • Provide guidance and motivation to team members to help ensure that goals and deadlines are achieved
  • Communicate with management, providing visibility on project status, risks, and opportunities
  • Work with management to develop efficient work methods and pipelines
  • And such other duties and responsibilities assigned by Cloud Imperium Games reasonably consistent with employee's skills and experience

Requirements:

  • Experience in software development processes
  • Experience in technical documentation
  • Knowledgeable of project management methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban, etc.)
  • Verbal & written communication skills
  • Excellent task-tracking organization
  • Problem solving & relationship building skills
  • Work experience with engineering and/or IT teams
  • International travel may be required as a part of this role

Pluses:

  • Experience on at least one game project from start to finish
  • Experience with standard project management development tools (MS Project, JIRA, etc.)
  • Previous QA, Engineering, IT or Publishing experience
  • Passion for sci-fi games and space simulations
  • Proficiency with Jira & Confluence
  • Project Management Certifications such as CAPM or PMP
