Job Overview
As videographer, you will shoot footage related to in-house content. You will be responsible for the bulk of the technical tasks related to production. This includes transporting, setting up, and operating equipment; and assisting with staging, set preparation and dressing. Must be willing to travel frequently to capture footage on location.
Duties
- Transports, sets up, and operates various production equipment including cameras, audio and video recorders, camera gimbals, lighting equipment, props, and microphones for on location and studio production
- Operates and maintains proper levels and calibration of cameras, audio and video recorders, and other production equipment
- Travels to events locally and internationally to capture interviews, b-roll, and vlog footage
- Keeping up to date with industry best practice and monitoring content activities of competitors
- Captures content for different platforms including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Instagram TV, and YouTube
- Conduct video interviews with talent and staff in a professional and productive manner
- Helps brainstorm and conceptualize content with the content and brand team
- Assists in developing interview questions and storyboards
- Delivers footage to Editors in an organized manner
- Position responsibilities may change to fit production needs
Background
- B.A. in Film Studies or similar preferred but not required.
- Highly articulate with an excellent command of written English.
- Creative minded with an ability to conceive interesting ideas for new content.
- Experience recording with SLR and DSLR camera types. Experience with cinema grade cameras considered a plus.
