Job Overview
We are looking for a Sales Director to help lead outbound sponsorship prospecting, negotiation, and activation planning. You will also be working alongside our Brand Director and Videographer/Producer to help design and deliver quality video deliverables and brand activations. The ideal candidate will be extremely self-motivated, organized, and have a track record of experience in sales or client relations. Esports experience preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
Proposal Management
- Building sales proposals: Including but not limited to the sponsorship plan, prospect lists, and unique pitch components, strategies, and draft activation plans.
- Produce all prospecting documents including presentations, proposals and agency templates for distribution
- Research prospects to discover narratives, brand objectives, KPIs, and personality traits of prospects
Client Management
- Assist in prospect pipeline management, reporting, and data input of a CRM system
- Keep leadership apprised and updated of all key issues and relevant data associated with pre-sales efforts
- Build relationships by occasionally attending events to network with new potentials
- Keep Creative/Leadership in the loop on any issues that occur that may impact deadlines
- Preparation of all wrap-up reports to include context/commentary around general success or failure of outreach waves and activations.
Activation Planning
- Activation planning (alongside creative team) for all outbound and inbound requests designed to include various elements (including but not limited to): social media exposure, jersey logo placement, video deliverables, in-person events.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- At least 2+ years of digital media, presentation creation/production, marketing research or sports marketing experience
- Knowledge of effective prospecting
- Passion for esports industry
- Strong verbal and written communication standards
