Job Description

Writers Room is part of the Creative Marketing Team. We develop ideas and write briefs and scripts, all coherent and consistent with the brand strategy. We are at the very beginning of the creative process in the department. Our writing is a fuel for other teams and helps them to produce trailers, promo arts, screenshots, illustrations, and many other magnificent assets.

As a Writer in the Marketing Creative Team, you will be responsible for the co-creation of almost every marketing asset that will go public and be seen by a world audience.

Daily responsibilities

  • Writing scripts for trailers, teasers, dev diaries, TV commercials, promotional films, and any other story-related materials.

  • Developing and supervising pitches, briefs, storyboards, promotional materials (articles, presentations, promotional texts), and a number of other assets.

  • Brainstorming and pitching ideas with an emphasis on storytelling, providing creative input from conception to completion.

  • Cooperating with members of the Integrated Marketing Communications team (franchise director, creative director, writers and producers, video editors, artists, illustrators, designers, graphic designers) to ensure consistent communication and quality content.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1 year as a writer, with an emphasis on completed commercial/film/TV scripts in your portfolio (must have).

  • The ability to write creatively, come up with ideas for specific briefs, and adapt to change.

  • Knowledge of storytelling fundamentals and the principles of film dramaturgy.

  • An ‘ear’ for dialogue and a knack for visual storytelling.

  • An appreciation and knowledge of video games, the industry as a whole, and current trends and practices.

  • Knowledge of basic marketing and advertising principles and of social media (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok).

  • A creative flair and general inquisitiveness, with a diverse approach to thinking.

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to ‘sell’ your ideas to team members.

  • Diligence, accuracy, and conscientiousness when performing tasks.

  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet hard deadlines.

  • Willingness to provide and receive constructive feedback.

  • Written and verbal English on at least C1 level.
