CCP London is growing our team! We have an exciting opportunity for a talented UI Artist to work on an unannounced online multiplayer shooter. We are looking for an individual with strong user interface art skills to join a highly motivated team to build a and user experience for the game.

We are a small team in the early stages of development, so this is a unique opportunity to have a large impact. Reporting to the Art Director, you will be responsible for all aspects of UI Art. As UI Artist, you will use your technical and creative experience to create all aspects of the front end and in-game user interface. You will be an expert in user interface design and artistic presentation. You will work beside our UI/UX Designer and help contribute prototype and final assets for the user interface.

Your tasks:

  • Create an original UI design style and visual language
  • Create functional, beautiful UI layouts for our online multiplayer shooter
  • Create layouts and elements for the in-game HUD
  • Design UI transition effects
  • Provide relevant text and tool tips for the UI elements
  • Anticipate needs and assist in planning for UI art
  • Work with QA and design to prioritize bug fixes and tuning
  • Identify and mitigate risks early and communicate them clearly

Your profile:

  • Prior experience as a UI Artist in video games, preferably PC/Console
  • Expertise in Adobe Suite (PS, XD, Illustrator, After Effects)
  • Substantial experience creating art from wire frames and mock ups
  • Strong visual communication skills
  • Exceptional design skills
  • You are a future forward thinker
  • Experience using Jira and Confluence
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment, specifically with SCRUM teams
  • Collaborative as well as a self-starter

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with UE4
  • Relevant University education
  • Graphic design
