We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer at our Reykjavík Studio to work on the world’s largest MMO!

Requirements:

  • Outstanding Python skills
  • Good knowledge and experience with SQL
  • C++ knowledge
  • Data Modeling (Yaml, Restful architecture, protobuf messages)
  • It’s a plus if you have experience with Aws / docker / datadog / Kubernetes but not a requirement
  • It’s also a plus if you have decent math skills: 3D maths as well as statistics but not a requirement

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the engineering tasks for your team including quality of code, validity of solutions, and service for the team and our players
  • Applying effective engineering methodologies and best practices to help ensure the highest possible quality with maximum efficiency
  • Fostering a collaborative environment with other engineers and members of the team to deliver the best features possible to our players
  • Being willing and able to mentor other more junior engineers
