CCP London is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who will thrive in a dynamic environment surrounded by creatives. We are currently focused on a new AAA online tactical shooter and the role plays a critical part of CCP’s Financial Planning & Analysis department.
You will be providing insights that support key business decision and you will work closely with the development team in terms of financial planning, cost control, variance analysis, data visualisation and special projects. This position will work routinely with our international subsidiaries in Reykjavik and Shanghai.
Your tasks:
- Business Partner to management of our London studio
- Primarily work with Budgeting and Financial Forecasting models of the Company
- Analyse current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales and expenses, highlighting trends and analysing underlying causes of variances
- Deliver management reports, e.g. corporate KPI’s, detailed expense reports and variance to budget stakeholders
- Working closely with global accounting team and management on budget variance and improved processes
- Create financial data visualisations in Tableau
- Ad-Hoc reporting and analysis
Your profile:
- Ability to explain complex problems in simple terms and/or visualisations
- Experienced with data visualisation software
- Creative thinking and shows initiative
- Independent with good communication skills
- Understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Experience in the Video Games Industry or comparable creative industry a plus
- Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering or Economics
- 3 - 5 years of business experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
