CCP London is currently growing our team! We have a unique opportunity for a talented engine programmer to join us to be part of the team developing world-leading procedural generation technology and fundamental core systems that will support our projects for years to come.

Your tasks:

  • Development of procedural generation systems for Art and Gameplay
  • Design, development and optimisation of engine and supporting systems
  • Integration of online services
  • Show initiative and take the first step towards solving problems of any size
  • Work closely with designers to define and implement features
  • Perform code reviews to maintain quality and share knowledge
  • Bug fixing and optimization from the engine upwards
  • Collaborating with other disciplines to provide code support
  • Mentoring less senior team members
  • Continual learning about state-of-the-art games systems and coding best practices
  • Getting proactively involved in a friendly and Agile studio

Your Profile:

  • A passion for making video games, ideally having worked on 1 or more titles (PC or console)
  • Significant professional experience coding with C++
  • Experience in the design, implementation and maintenance of core systems
  • Versatility and a willingness to contribute to a wide range of programming tasks
  • The ability to easily communicate and collaborate with other team members
  • Experience in the design, implementation, and maintenance of procedural systems
  • Practical experience programming games in UE4
  • Knowledge of scene optimisation (Streaming, Culling, etc)
  • Knowledge of common content creation tools (Houdini, Maya, etc) and their pipelines
