CatFace is a YouTube entertainment company, home to a family of channels that have 10 million subscribers and averages 450 million views per month. Our goal is to entertain our YouTube audience with fun, light-hearted narratives, and entertaining content for both children and young adults. A vital component of our business is having bespoke Minecraft sets and assets to intrigue and engage our audience.

We are looking for a skilled builder who is interested in contributing and the creation of Minecraft worlds that will reach millions of viewers. This position is ideal for an experienced builder that is interested in full time work creating multiple small to mid sized hubs and sets. Candidates must be motivated to work effectively in a fast paced Youtube environment and willing to make changes to build based on the overall creative direction of a given project. Our ideal candidate will possess the drive and energy to assist workflow in any way possible including learning new mods, tools and brand guidelines.

All candidates must deliver a full resume with a portfolio of build examples to be considered for this position.

Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of the Minecraft platform
  • 2+ years of Minecraft building experience
  • Passion for YouTube Content, desire to understand how it works, and the ability to absorb and learn to improve videos, brainstorm ideas and expand on talent's vision in successful ways.
  • Mastery of basic Minecraft server commands and command block scripting
  • Mastery of World Edit and/or Voxel Sniper
  • Knowledge of World Painter program
  • Knowledge of the mods Chisels & Bits and/or Little Tiles
  • Experience with using the Minecraft modding platforms Forge and/or Fabric
  • Experience with the Minecraft plugin Command Helper and Method Script
  • Deep knowledge of the Minecraft YouTube space and the ability to analyze upcoming building trends and techniques
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced entertainment environment and shift gears at a moment's notice.
  • Great and timely communication skills.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
