The Sr. Manager, Partner Marketing will work closely with internal Marketing, Sales and Digital Platforms teams to define and execute a marketing strategy to support Capcom’s key Partners. The role requires collaboration and relationship-building skills as well a project management orientation with strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate will drive long term platform marketing planning through a combination of data analysis, creative conception and relationship management.

The measure of success for this role is based on both the level of promotional support secured from first parties as well the ability to support Digital Sales’ and Marketing’s efforts to drive pre-orders and purchases.

This person will serve as the day-to-day marketing contact for Partners such as Sony Interactive Entertainment, Microsoft, Nintendo, Steam and other emerging platforms.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Own the day-to-day Marketing relationship with 1st party platforms and Retail partners
  • Own both multi-platform and platform specific Marketing campaigns which includes concert price drops
  • Align Marketing Beats from Brand team with actionable levers on partner platforms (Content, Demos, Free trials, Price drop)
  • Work closely with Sales managers to identify priorities and initiatives to activate existing Partners, including but not limited to: digital storefront editorial merchandising, tailored blog content, eCRM campaigns and social/PR posts and announcements
  • Partner with the Digital Sales team to develop integrated marketing plans that support and drive channel revenue, including discount promotions for catalog titles.
  • Collaborate with Brand Managers and data analysts to gauge campaign performance and develop post-mortems after key activations
  • Work with Brand Managers and data analysts to create a targeted email campaign to engage with our most loyal customers during key activations
  • Communicate program KPIs pre and post campaign and identify key learnings to all stakeholders Senior Management
  • Be the Subject Matter Expert on 1st Party Partner marketing channel offerings and capabilities
  • Align with National Brand Campaigns that leverage Partners capabilities
  • Actively contribute to a high level of market awareness group-wide by regularly disseminating actionable insights
  • Build, maintain, and nurture strong relationships internally and across all Partners

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3-5 years of experience in Partner, Product or Brand Marketing
  • Experience managing relationships with strategic external partners
  • Proven talent in the development and execution of successful partner marketing and merchandising campaigns
  • Results-oriented organized project manager
  • Excellent negotiator
  • Relationship building professional
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Skilled presenter to both small and large groups
  • Advanced skills in MS Office and presentation software required
  • Must be able to travel to partner meetings, retail and trade shows
  • Must be able to interact with various levels of management and consumers

Minimum Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Requires minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Partner, Product or Brand Marketing
  • Results oriented project manager
  • Excellent written and verbal communication required
  • Advanced skills in MS Office and presentation software required

  • This position occasionally requires walking long distances to the trade show booth.
  • Standing and walking for extended periods of time at trade show booth.
  • Attendance at the trade show booth for up to 10 hours at a time.
