The role of the Associate Brand Marketing Manager is to assist a larger brand marketing team to maximize the sales potential of Capcom products with a focus on AAA Titles, including but not limited to; the Resident Evil, Street Fighter, Monster Hunter franchises and other titles as assigned.

Responsible for managing effective, innovative, and cost-efficient marketing campaigns in North and South America territories, and working collaboratively with Capcom’s European and Japanese promotional teams, as well as R&D. Must have the ability and capability of strategically leading and managing marketing, media, and influencer functions to be a key contributor for large AAA marketing campaigns, and taking leadership of a smaller campaigns for non-AAA titles and digital products.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for managing effective, innovative, and cost-efficient marketing campaigns in North and South America territories, and working collaboratively with Capcom’s European and Japanese promotional teams, as well as R&D.
  • Develops the strategic and tactical marketing go to market plans to increase brand recognition and market share of assigned titles and franchises.
  • Prepares go to market campaign KPIs, budgets, and goals after conducting focused market research to analyze brand recognition, market share, consumer perceptions/behavior.
  • Work collaboratively and support sales, channel, public relations, legal, social media, and licensing departments to maximize sales potential of products. Creation and management of key marketing documents such as go to market strategy and post-mortems.
  • Manage media agencies to develop a data driven media strategy that can be optimized and evolved throughout the campaign. May be assigned to negotiate the pricing of media services on behalf of Capcom.
  • Manage creative agencies to deliver best in class marketing assets such as key art, trailers, websites, and online banners.
  • Manage influencer agencies to partner with trending creators to deliver best in class marketing content.
  • Deliver engaging experiences at key trade show events, and provide general event support on-site.
  • Collaborate with the Event team and R&D to develop a digital event to deliver engaging new content to the fans.
  • Provide media spokesperson duties for assigned products, including live on-camera interviews.
  • Management of marketing budgets for assigned products, and work collaboratively with Capcom’s finance team.
  • Work collaboratively with 1st party partners such as Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo and Valve, to maximize sales opportunities for products.
  • Other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements

Education and Experience

  • BA in Business/Marketing or related field.
  • 2-3 years minimum of product management or brand marketing experience in a related entertainment industry. The ideal candidate will have industry experience working on AAA titles.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast paced environment.
  • Must have strong project management skills.
  • Adobe Creative Suite proficiency desired but not required.
  • Familiarity with the Resident Evil franchise ideal but not required.
  • Experience working at a Japanese publisher or working with overseas HQ office is a plus.

Physical Demands

This position requires regular travel both domestically and internationally.

This position occasionally requires exerting up to 25 pounds of force to move objects. Other physical demands may include climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, running, sitting, lifting, fingering, typing, thumbing, grasping, talking, yelling, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.

Working Environments
