At Caffeine, we want to change how people consume live television - making it more friendly, connected, and fun. To do this, we're building a new social broadcasting platform that features world-class content, easy-to-use broadcasting tools, a social and fun viewing experience, and an engaged broadcaster community.

This is an exciting and enormous challenge, and we will only be successful if we build a supportive and collaborative team. Our teams prioritize delighting our community of viewers and broadcasters, working with intention, taking ownership of our commitments, and acting with resilience and determination—all with the intention to ship greatness, always.

The Program Management team supports the Engineering organization through the software development process. We anticipate team needs, have a solid understanding of the product and Caffeine's software platform, and use that knowledge to solve problems and communicate across teams.

As an Engineering Program Manager at Caffeine, you'll be a critical member of the Engineering team, removing barriers to your team's success, communicating progress to all stakeholders and ensuring the big picture stays in focus while delving into the details on specific technical issues. Ideal team members are adaptable and resilient, eager to tackle unfamiliar situations with curiosity and tenacity, while able to inspire and influence team members at different levels of experience. You are responsible for forming conviction about what needs to be done, calculating risks, and making sure all the puzzle pieces fit together for software to ultimately ship into production.

What you'll do:

  • Drive and ship large and small multi-functional projects.
  • Drive meaningful aspects of a project including scope, requirements, timelines, and prioritization.
  • Coordinate, execute, and plan multiple and sometimes competing technical priorities in a fast paced environment.
  • Own program schedules by presenting program milestones and updates to leadership, distilling key program information and highlighting risks.
  • Develop standards, processes, and documentation to improve methodologies -- including reviews, awareness, education and process controls.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, Engineering, EPMs, QA and organizations both inside and outside the company to develop solutions for partnerships and other new business initiatives.
  • Work closely with Senior Management to evaluate current processes and systems and assist in planning and implementing new procedures and systems to maximize live operations efficiency.
  • Maintain an approach of continuous improvement, in terms of efficiency of support processes, customer satisfaction, and the application of tools for monitoring, management, and optimization.
  • Lead weekend/holiday live show planning and end to end coverage.

Who you are & What you've done:

  • 8+ years of program or project management in software development.
  • Quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Experience accomplishing strategic and operational projects.
  • Knowledge of incident management processes.
  • Naturally accountable, responsible, self-starting, results-oriented, focused, and self-sufficient.
  • Experience facilitating collaborative working sessions (requirements sessions, design meetings, progress and status meetings).
  • Experience evaluating, developing, and implementing operational improvements through automation and process redesign to ensure scalability and velocity.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) to all levels of an organization.
  • Experience with G-Suite and project management tools (Jira, Asana, etc).
  • Bachelors or Masters in Engineering, Computer Science, or related experience.
  • Project Management certification beneficial; not required.
