At Caffeine, we want to change how people consume live television - making it more friendly, connected, and fun. To do this, we’re building a new social broadcasting platform that features world-class content, easy-to-use broadcasting tools, a social and fun viewing experience, and an engaged broadcaster community.

This is an exciting and enormous challenge, and we will only be successful if we build a supportive and collaborative team. Our teams prioritize delighting our community of viewers and broadcasters, working with intention, taking ownership of our commitments, and acting with resilience and determination—all with the intention to ship greatness, always.

As a Design Producer at Caffeine, you'll be the heartbeat behind our design process and execution. Your main objective is to establish seamless workflows, processes and procedures that will allow for team efficiency, partner alignment and improved products. You are responsible for forming conviction about what needs to be done, calculating risks, and making sure all the puzzle pieces fit together for a design to ultimately ship into production.

What You'll Do

    • Act as the main point of contact into the design team and provide status updates of current programs.
    • Responsible for building project schedules based on the known dates of the program and risk factors, obtaining necessary approvals and meeting syncs with teams. How will you surface potential obstacles and risks that stand in the way of success?
    • Coordinate and lead weekly design meetings to align teams on programs and running next steps. Take clear notes to distribute to attendees highlighting key decisions and action items.
    • Establish new workflows and implement them in ways that remove friction and allow scalability, efficiency and creativity across the product development lifecycle.
    • Prepare for design reviews with partners and senior leadership by driving agendas, goals, FAQs and presentation strategy.
    • Collaborate closely with project leads on project vision, strategy and roadmaps.

Who You Are & What You've Done

    • 3+ years of experience as a Creative Producer, Program Manager, or Project Manager in a design-centric organization. Proficient in design and project management tools such as Keynote, Sketch, JIRA, and Abstract.
    • You are motivated by the challenges that arise from evolving a growing team, and demonstrate problem-solving leadership with limited oversight. You have vision and real passion for building an environment for a high performing, and balanced design team.
    • You have the organizational skills of a project manager, the pixel-perfect obsession of a designer, and the passion to build the best through your focus, accountability, and leadership.
    • Ability to lead a high volume of programs and deliverables simultaneously; naturally highly organized and motivated by efficiency. You are able to handle ambiguity and adjust for the unexpected.
    • Ambitious personality and ability to build positive relationships across team members. You are an effective and open communicator with an understanding of programs necessary to work towards solutions.

We are committed to an inclusive and diverse Caffeine. We believe that different perspectives lead to better ideas, and better ideas allow us to better understand the needs and interests of our diverse, global community. We welcome people of different backgrounds, experiences, abilities and perspectives and are an equal opportunity employer.
