Responsibilities
- Design and maintain features at ship quality in C++.
- Work closely with the team to support creation of industry leading gameplay
- Engage with the team to understand the big picture goals of the project
- Work closely with the team to troubleshoot network related issues
- Work with team and external vendors to set requirements, define processes and standards
- Drive efficiency & best practices for the project and ensure we build on strong foundations that can be both modified and expanded upon
- Ensure we are authoring our content effectively and efficiently within memory budgets and performance constraints for optimally networked gameplay
Required Qualifications and skills
- 3+ years of experience in networking, gameplay, or live services programming
- 5+ years of C/C++ experience or equivalent
- Update-to-date knowledge of current industry techniques and systems
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Unreal Engine experience
- Familiarity with scalable web services such as AWS/Azure
- Knowledge of shader and graphics programming techniques
- Experience with in-game uis such as the HUD
