Responsibilities
- Create industry leading FX throughout our gameplay experiences and cinematic sequences
- Drive FX style & best practices for the project and ensure we achieve a unified look throughout the game
- Ensure we are authoring our content effectively and efficiently within memory budgets and performance constraints for real-time rendering
Required Qualifications and skills:
- Experience in Houdini and Unreal Engine (Niagara and/or Cascade)
- Exceptional portfolio of FX artwork, showcasing real-time work in Unreal Engine
- Understanding of modern day real-time FX systems, engines and technology
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Knowledge of programming languages such as HLSL/Python/C++
- Photoshop, Blender, Substance
- Knowledge of several Houdini methods - destruction, fluids, Particle FX, Pyro FX as well as procedural content creation for architectural environments and landscapes
- Ability to showcase outstanding use of fluid dynamics, timing, animation, color and lighting in the creation of photorealistic, high quality effects for environments and dynamic objects
