Our team is seeking a motivated and skillful results-driven individual to recruit for our growing University Relations and Early in Career program. This individual will bridge the gap between opening and offer, one candidate at a time. You will partner closely with hiring managers to help develop, deliver, and execute an inclusive and diverse talent strategy plan that aligns with Bungie’s growth plans in order to fill our Intern and Early in Career openings. You will also help to provide critical talent insights to help inform and influence our recruitment process, hiring philosophies, and overall assessment practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely and partner with the entire recruiting operations as well as internal hiring teams to support hiring for Interns and Early in Career positions; identifying risks, resourcing plans, and branding opportunities as appropriate
  • Screen candidates for availability, interest level, eligibility to work in the U.S., salary expectations, relocation needs, relevant skills and experience, and core competencies and present them to appropriate hiring teams
  • Understand candidate needs to successfully close them; use a high degree of professionalism and savviness in generating, extending negotiating offers
  • Advise and provide counsel to hiring managers and internal stake holders, with guidance from senior members on the team, on all aspects of the hiring process while operating in a rapidly changing environment
  • Ensure that every candidate has an outstanding and inclusive experience
  • Partner with our University Relations Recruiting Lead to develop relationships with universities, schools, and other programs to identify diverse talent pools and develop resourcing plans for the organization
  • Attend and plan job fairs, conventions, industry events and conferences such as college career fairs and Grace Hopper Celebration
  • Maintain and encourage further development of recruitment initiatives/programs that impact University Relations and Early in Career hiring
  • Learn to implement targeted sourcing initiatives utilizing a variety of tools including LinkedIn, Boolean, Hiretual, Chrome Extensions, and other internet research tactics
  • Understand Bungie’s Intern and Early in Career hiring needs and translate those needs into effective and efficient candidate generation strategies
  • Maintain excellent communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills with proven ability to take initiative and build strong productive relationships
  • Experience with an Applicant Tracking System, preferably Greenhouse

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Experience in a recruiting environment; familiarity with the full cycle recruiting process; previous experience hiring for Intern and/or Early in Career positions a plus
  • Attention to detail and demonstrated skills in managing high volume tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Process oriented and able to accurately maintain data integrity in our ATS, metrics and reporting
  • Ability to build effective partnerships with external stakeholders, including university professors, career counselors, organizers, and students, to generate candidate pipelines and sourcing strategies to fulfill the studio’s talent gaps
  • Experience speaking with and assessing candidates’ skills and qualifications
  • Proven ability creating candidate pipelines and a track record of hiring success
  • Effective communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, and ability to take initiative and build productive relationships; experience with coaching hiring managers
  • Eager to learn innovative sourcing techniques to engage and convert passive candidates
  • Ability to effectively convey compelling communications and presentation skills to candidates

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS

  • Previous experience driving diversity sourcing strategies
  • Previous recruiting experience in the video game industry

In 2022, most Bungie employees will adopt a flexible schedule working from home part time (outside of positions identified as either 100% onsite or fully remote in CA, FL, IL, NC, TX, and WA). Currently only a select range of positions are available for full-time remote work in CA, FL, IL, NC, TX, and WA (please review location for details). Prospective employees located outside of CA, FL, IL, NC, TX, and WA will need to establish residency in one of the states we are compliant in within 45 days of a start date.
